Breathable Mono-Mesh Upper

Providing you with exceptional levels of breathability and comfort, the Fast-FWD Nitro Elite utilises a mono-mesh upper construction to keep your feet feeling cool and cosy. The perforations within the fabric allow cool air to flow, whilst hot muggy air escapes, providing a cooling sensation as you move and a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive. These materials provide you with a sock-like fit, enhancing in-shoe comfort. The use of PWRTAPE is provided throughout the uppers to enhance the level of support and durability that’s provided, whilst a heel fin further increases support. Finally, a lace-up system allows you to get a locked-in and secure fit, preventing in-shoe slippage and allowing you to get the best out of your race without distractions.

Nitro Elite Midsole

Providing you with premium cushioning and underfoot comfort the shoes utilise Puma’s Nitro Elite midsole compound. This is a nitrogen-infused foam, which is lightweight and springy, and provides you with high energy return and responsiveness. Infusing nitrogen into the foam, Puma have been able to expand their midsoles, by doing so the shoes are extremely comfortable underfoot whilst also providing maximum propulsion with each step, letting you run further and faster with ease. Not only will the foam help propel you forward helping you to hit those PBs, but it also absorbs shocks and negative impact forces as you strike hard unforgiving surfaces, by doing so this reduces stress on the joints and the risk of injury. The midsole has cut-away elements to keep things extremely lightweight and to a minimum. Alongside this, the PWRPLATE extends through the midsole and is a carbon-fibre plate that works to enhance energy return and propel you forward.

The Fast-FWD Nitro Elite utilises a PumaGrip-LT outsole structure, which provides you with high levels of grip and traction, whilst helping the shoes remain lightweight. This outsole ensures that the shoes have a maximum level of grip on a multitude of surfaces, allowing you to step out to conquer the race in full confidence of achieving your PB. This outsole construction combines a perfect combination of hardness for durability and softness for grip, thanks to a construction that has been optimised specifically for wet grounds.
